Solaria
Music  by Glyn Collinson
Lyrics by Glyn Collinson and Kirk McKusick
Written at dusk in Ohau, New Zealand, August 2004
Recorded in Leigh, New Zealand on August 9th, 2004

Moon's rising over the mountains ahead
Smiles as it's coming the way that I've led
But I know it's hanging along on one side
And I think it's trying to hide

It's a long way, with nothing before me but what's in my mind
It's a long way, I'm not sure what I'm trying to find.

Lake that's reflecting the blue evning sky
Light that is fading with each passing try
But I know it's changing from red into black
And I think that it's changing tack

CHORUS

Blood sunlight falls on the snow far away
Fading as it draws the life from the day
But I know it's rising for you all the time
And I'm glad you're holding the line

CHORUS

Stars soon are blooming with nothing to say
Pass through the sky as they flow on their way
But I know they're pointing the way back to you
And I hope that they're pointing true
